The summer golf camp provides local area youth for all backgrounds an opportunity to develop lifelong values such as confidence, perseverance and judgment by learning the game of golf.
How it works:
$250.00 USD enrolls a kid to camp and gives each player a complete new set of golf clubs and golf bag*. Send your own kid for a wonderful time of fun and learning or help sponsor a deserving kid to camp. Donations begin at $25.00 USD for sponsorship of a randomly selected youth. All donations or full enrollment camp fees are fully tax deductible and receipts will be issued to all donors or your designee.**
2009 Gift Box Program
Rancho Cucamonga, California and Guatemala City, Guatemala
Gift boxes were distributed to local family members and residents in Rancho Cucamonga, California and Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Inland Empire, California youth enjoyed treats and toys during the Christmas holidays with the generosity from students of Day Creek Intermediate School of Rancho Cucamonga. These students are the young citizens of this community who are learning and developing lifelong attributes of giving and sharing.
High risk youth which have been associated with child abuse, gangs and drugs are enrolled in prevention and rehabilitation program named “CAIF” Center of Integral Attention for the Fortification of Family were given gift boxes during a post Christmas holiday family event.
We are pleased to announce the J.J. Johnson Foundation will conduct the annual Golf Summer Day Camps as part of our commitment to youth development and community involvement. Our camps are ideal opportunities to sponsor a kid for camp or send your own. Don’t forget grand kids are also welcome.
2008 Gift Box Program
La Antigua, Guatemala
Located in La Antigua, Guatemala; during the 2007-2008 year. Volunteers assisted with distribution of new and used clothing, over counter medical supplies, toys, and much needed school supplies. We hope all those that supported our successful program this previous year will continue helps us make 2008 even more successful. 2007 Gift Box Program
Ontario, California
Gift boxes were distributed to local families and residents in Tent City. Tent City was hastily erected as the California housing situation reached critical levels in the year of 2007. Our staff and volunteers distributed much needed new and used clothing, over counter medical supplies, toys, and gift boxes during Christmas day. Hot food and meals were also distributed through our local food pantry program to bring warmth and smiles several hundred persons.
